The repeated visibility of an advertisement promoting a local service or product that the peruser knows he/she will need, or have a wanting interest in, constantly catches their eyes' and allows for easy access.
SECOND - We only allow a maximum of 12 advertisements to be placed on the website. Keep in mind that an advertiser may purchase as many advertising spaces as they choose. Also, combining 2 or more advertising spaces to facilitate a larger advertisement is allowed.
Why only a limited number of advertisements? If too many advetisements are placed on a page, than the viewer becomes oblivious to the ads. We do not want this to happen. We like our audience to see, acknowledge, and partake in our advertisers services and products.
AND THIRD - Advertisements should promote a local service or business that will be useful to the audience of the Denver Bed and Breakfast Guild. When traveling on business or pleasure, I'm typically not in the market to change my phone carrier service, or see how I can repair my credit. Advertisement Specifications:
We do not accept advertisements with audio files attached, have secondary pop-up windows, or that we consider loud or abrasive. Examples of these types of advertisements have music or speach attached, mouse-over action that opens a pop-up window or larger ad, brightly colored and blinking, or too striking to the eyes to be comfortable for viewing for an extended period of time. As previously stated, we want our audience to see, acknowledge, and partake in the advertisements.
Image Types Accepted:
gif, jpg, jpeg, png. Animation file types can include gif89a and flash (swf).
Advertisement Dimensions - L x H in pixels:
One (1) Space Advertisement - 125 pixels x 125 pixels.
Two (2) Space Advertisement - 125 pixels x 260 pixels.
Three (3) Space Advertisement - 125 pixels x 395 pixels.
Four (4) Space Advertisement - 125 pixels x 530 pixels.
Five (5) Space Advertisement - 125 pixels x 665 pixels.
Six (6) Space Advertisement - 125 pixels x 800 pixels.
Alternate text can be a maximum of 110 characters.
Placing an Advertisement:
To have your advertisement placed on the Denver Bed and Breakfast Guild website, send us your advertising image, alternate text, and contact information via email.
Advertisements are placed for a minimum of 6 months, and reoccurring at 6 month intervals.
Payments:
We except payments by credit card using PayPal, or by check.
PayPal is used for credit card payment transactions and proccessing, because of their expertise in security measures.
Payment for advertising fees is required at the time of placement of an advertisement. Payments and invoicing are on a 6 month schedule from advertisement insertion date.
